Bacteriostatic Water for Injection is sterile water preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, formulated to inhibit bacterial growth in multi-dose vials. Unlike standard sterile water, the benzyl alcohol preservative prevents microbial contamination without introducing reactivity with most peptide compounds, making it the preferred reconstitution solvent for the vast majority of lyophilized research peptides. Each 10mL vial provides sufficient volume for multiple precise reconstitutions.
